Hong Kong Trip
During 13th November to 16th November, we were given a chance to go Hong Kong for a CCA trip, and we took it. We visited many attractive attractions in Hong Kong and had a great time with our squadmates and seniors there. The trip was filled with many challenging and exciting activities.
On the very first day of the trip, we went on our coach to start our journey. We crossed the Tsing Ma Bridge to get to Hong Kong Island, where our first stop will be at. We went to Repulse Bay for sightseeing. After that, we went to Avenue Of Stars where we got to see many artiste's handprints. Even artistes that have passed away have a place in Avenue Of Stars, although they didn't have the chance to imprint their handprints.
The next day, we took a ferry to Lamma Island and started our trek there over an undulating landscape which taxed our endurance severely. Although the trek was tiring, the reward at the end was worth it, we had a scrumptious seafood meal! After the meal, we went to Ladies' Market. We got to see how Hong Kong's streets and shopping centres are like, and it was a big difference compared to ours. Many of us bought lots of bargained-priced stuffs to reward ourselves for enduring through the tiring day.
It was Disneyland the next day! We spend the whole day there and had a really good time. It was a time to bond with squadmates and seniors, and we got to know them much better. There, we took a lot of fun rides and watched nice performances by Disney characters such as a 3-D show and a Stitch interactive show.
Time passes quickly when you have fun. Without realising it, it's the last day of the trip. After breakfast, we went to Ladies' Market to shop again! We got the chance to take Hong Kong's public transport, Mass-Transit Railway (MTR), which is Singapore's Mass Rapid Transport (MRT). Soon after, we were on our flight back to Singapore, which then marks the end of the trip.
We were able to enjoy this trip to the fullest is because of all the effort the teachers in charge have put it. The cooperation of all of us for the trip was also another factor.
